Last Chance to Learn About your Healthcare Options before Open Enrollment 

Join Care Resource for the last two series in October to learn more about the Health Insurance Marketplace as we prepare for the new open enrollment in November 15, 2014. The Health Insurance Marketplace is a new way to find coverage that fits your budget and meets your needs.

According to Marcos Rivero, Care Resource’s Health Insurance Specialist, “One needs healthcare. With it, comes piece of mind. As the medical home for healthcare for all South Floridians in need, during open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) last year, over 1,500 people came into our Care Resource offices to take advantage of benefits. The marketplace benefits within the ACA are more than just HIV/AIDS related – they include primary care, dental care and more. Whether you’re uninsured or just want to explore your choices, we can help find coverage the coverage within the marketplace that’s right for you. This is a time to bring your questions.”

In addition, during these last two series, one can learn about how they can transition from the Ryan White Program into the marketplace while also receiving premium, deductible and co-payment assistance. In addition, one can learn how to create and activate their account on healthcare.gov. *The Ryan White Program helps those who do not have sufficient health care coverage or financial resources for coping with HIV. It helps fills the gaps in care that are not covered by other sources.
