Miami, FL (May 3, 2013) – Food for Life Network recently received a $5,000 grant from the BJ’s Charitable Foundation. Food for Life will use the grant to purchase food ($4850) and ziplock bags ($150) for the Food Bank Groceries Program.
Food for Life Network, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) organization that provides and delivers groceries, meals and nutritional education to eliminate malnutrition and starvation in men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Miami-Dade county since 1987. Food for Life Network, Inc. is an affiliate of Care Resource, a 501(c)(3) non-profit medical provider with demonstrated excellence in the multicultural field of HIV/AIDS.

Care Resource is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides comprehensive primary medical and preventive care, including health, oral and mental health/substance abuse services to all individuals in our community.
