The programs strive to incorporate co-occurring principles into their practices through comprehensive risk assessments. Individuals are referred and linked to HIV care and treatment and other support services. Specific programs are targeted to underserved communities: African American Testing Initiative (AATI) focuses on high-risk black / African-American individuals. Early Intervention focuses on individuals at risk with substance abuse issues. Short Term Intervention focuses men who have sex with men, Hispanics, and minority women. Social Networking Strategy focuses on minority women. Sexually Transmitted Diseases provide testing for various diseases including syphilis, gonorrhea, clamadyia, Treatment options are provided as well as additional support services.
