In support of Hispanic Heritage Month, on Tuesday, October 13th, from 12:00pm-2:30pm at the Care Resource office in Little Havana located on the 3rd floor of 1901 S.W. 1st Street, the community is invited to a special lunch-and-learn where one can enjoy a healthy lunch. 

During National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th to October 15th), Care Resource recognizes the contributions made and the important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States. We also recognize the importance of meeting the health care needs and more of this growing community.

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Care Resource was happy to support the “Celebrate ORGULLO” Festival that showcased Hispanic artists and had music, dance, refreshments, vendor booths, HIV/AIDS testing areas and more.

This is a series of events in commemoration of National Latino AIDS Day on October 14th at 1:00pm at Fusion, located on 2304 NE 7th Ave in Wilton Manors, FL. Dr. Steven Santiago, Chief Medical Officer with Care Resource will present an Educational track on Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).

Care Resource & Latinos En Accion Health Fair – October 17th
On October 17th, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Taquería Dona Raquels located at 791 S Dixie Hwy in Pompano Beach, FL, there is a comprehensive health service outreach collaboration that provides HIV, STD testing and many other services

Nutritious choices are an important health topic for the Hispanic community as it is hit especially hard by diabetes.
