In this regard, as of July 1st, Care Resource welcomes Albert Canas MD, Marlene Jarin MD and Shari Klinger MD as our newest medical providers with offices located at 1680 Michigan Avenue, Suite 912 in Miami Beach, Fl.

Dr. Albert Canas is a South Florida native. Born at Mt. Sinai Hospital on Miami Beach, he is fully bi-lingual in English and Spanish. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine and went on to complete his internship and residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Albert Canas went on to private practice upon completion of his medical training and has practiced on Miami Beach since 1994, and at his current location since 1998. He is a recognized specialist in the treatment of HIV/AIDS. He presently cares for hundreds of HIV positive individuals, some since he started practicing medicine in 1994.

Marlene Anne Jarin MD was born and raised in the Philippines. She pursued her medical career at the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas in Manila, graduated with a degree of Doctor of Medicine, Magna Cum Laude in 2004. She completed her three year residency training for Family Medicine at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and served as the Chief Resident on her final year.

Shari Klinger MD attended medical school at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to San Francisco for her internship at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center and subsequent residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. She received her Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1989. After relocating to Miami, she continued her professional development, specifically in the field of HIV management since 1998. She is credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
