Be the one who makes decisions about your sexual behaviors. You are more likely to make decisions that can result in self-harm when you let someone else decide for you. When you have sex with persons who do not have your best interest in mind, or you have sex while intoxicated, you loose some of your decision making control. CONVEINENCE CAN BE THE KEY:
You are more likely to have unsafe sex if you decide not to carry condoms with you.

IF YOU DON’T TELL YOUR SEX PARTNER YOU HAVE HIV BEFORE HAVING SEX:

• You won’t be able to talk honestly with your partner about safer ways to have sex.    
• You may end up without a potential source of support.
• You could have trouble talking honestly with your partner about other aspects of yourself that you want and need to discuss.
• You may worry, feel alone in your relationship or end up simply hooking up for sex.    
• You may feel less respect for yourself when you do not live up to your beliefs about right and wrong.
• You can cause problems for yourself and your partner.

Finally, remember you should be the one making decisions about sexual behaviors!
