Scott Hall, MD, joins the medical staff of Care Resource

Miami, FL (October 21, 2013) – Care Resource is excited to welcome a new physician who will be serving our Broward county clients, Dr. Scott Hall. Dr. Hall joins the Care Resource team at a time when we continue to ramp up and expand our overall medical services to the LGBT communities in Broward and Dade. According to Rick Siclari, “the numbers of patients across all three offices, including Miami Beach, are up over 20% this year, due in part to our increasing access to services to the larger LGBT population. Our recent designation as a Joint Commission accredited facility, and our new status as a Patient Centered Medical Home positions us for continued growth as the new Affordable Healthcare Act brings more folks into care.”

Dr. Scott Hall attended college at the University of Cincinnati and medical school at The Ohio State University. While in medical school, Dr. Hall received honors in medical humanities and otolaryngology before graduating in 1996. Dr. Hall relocated to the South Florida area after completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since then, Dr. Hall has been working in the South Florida community and those with HIV in both public and private settings. He is a member of the American Academy of HIV Medicine, the American Medical Association and the Broward County Medical Association. Steven Santiago, Medical Director for Care Resource, explains that, “Dr. Hall brings over 15 years of experience in the field of HIV and internal medicine to our Broward office and we are pleased to be adding him to the staff to further enhance our expertise in this important area.”
